Confirm access to your hotel or apartment separately. Check airport code, local arrival date and full address across every booking so one part of the trip does not contradict another.
Prepare official documents and a usable destination
Consult Dominican authorities and your airline for the current requirements of your passport and itinerary. The official e-ticket is free; a commercial assistance page is not the government form. Keep the required confirmation accessible offline instead of relying on data after landing.
Verify SDQ on the actual ticket and copy the hotel's complete address. Tell your host the expected arrival. For an after-midnight flight, confirm both the local pickup date and the room night that gives immediate access; a date entered consistently but incorrectly can affect both services.
Complete the airport process before the public pickup
Follow signs through the applicable arrival procedures, collect checked bags and address missing baggage before leaving the controlled area. Use the confirmed public-arrivals meeting instructions. The transfer driver does not meet you at the aircraft or baggage carousel.
Report your status to dispatch if held up. Flight tracking cannot identify an immigration queue or baggage claim you are handling. Verify the assigned driver using the original booking contact before surrendering bags or accepting an unfamiliar replacement vehicle.
Finish the ride carefully and confirm the return independently
Agree fare and payment before travel, keep essential items and passports with you, then count bags and inspect seats and storage before the driver leaves. Hotel entry or host key delivery needs its own arrangement; reaching the address does not open the room.
Keep dispatch's details but check the return is actually accepted for its own date and flight. Work pickup back from the airline's required arrival allowance, adding road time and contingency. The arrival drive's duration alone cannot provide a reliable flight-home timetable.
