A workable SDQ business pickup: traveller brief, billing and repeat rides

Give the person travelling and the person arranging the ride one agreed itinerary, then resolve the payment paperwork before departure.

Short answer

For SDQ RIDE business travel, prepare two things: a passenger brief with the flight, local date, destination, people and bags, and a billing brief with the payer, currency and required document. Identify one person who can authorize changes. Each repeat journey needs its own confirmation; a successful previous trip does not reserve the next vehicle.

Give the traveller the same instructions as the arranger

Start with the name the arriving passenger will recognize on the sign, not just the name of the assistant making the reservation. Add a reachable traveller contact, flight number, local arrival date, destination address and the full passenger and luggage count. Tell dispatch which coordinator may approve a route or price change; several colleagues sending different instructions can leave the booking ambiguous.

Before boarding, the passenger should receive the accepted itinerary, meeting instructions and saved dispatch number. Share that final version rather than an early estimate. Coordination normally needs a name and travel details, not employee files or copies of identity documents unrelated to the ride.

Resolve the company's document requirements before the ride

Ask what billing document can actually be issued, then provide the billing name and the details your employer requires. A purchase-order number, internal reference, invoice format or delivery email should be discussed before confirmation. A payment receipt may not satisfy a finance department's invoice rules; do not leave that difference until reimbursement is due.

Published payment choices are USD or DOP cash and bank transfer by arrangement. Booking for a company does not itself create a credit account, monthly billing arrangement or card-payment facility. Agree the payer, currency, total, payment method and timing in the booking conversation so the passenger knows whether to carry cash.

Quote a day of meetings as an itinerary, not an airport ride

A confirmed airport-to-office fare ends at its agreed destination. Waiting through a meeting, visiting another office or continuing to a hotel adds work that must be specified. Send the sequence of addresses and the expected waiting periods together, allowing dispatch to quote the service you actually need.

For recurring travel, keep a dated trip list and check the flight, hotel, colleagues and luggage each time. An old confirmation is useful context, not a current booking. Plan the airport return separately, working back from the airline's required arrival allowance and leaving a realistic road contingency.

Frequently asked questions

Does a company booking automatically include monthly billing?

No. Ask dispatch to confirm the available billing document and agree payment separately. Company details or a previous journey do not establish credit terms.
