Resolve uncertain goods before departure
Use the DGA manual to check allowances, restricted items and declaration requirements. Immigration entry permission, airline acceptance and customs clearance are different decisions made by different bodies. A transfer reservation cannot settle any of them.
Ask the responsible authority about unclear items before flying and keep its instructions or required documents. Retain purchase records when relevant. Explain delays that flight tracking cannot show
Touchdown comes before immigration, delivery of checked bags and customs. Your car meeting is after those stages in the public area. Keep dispatch's saved contact accessible if an inspection or declaration adds time; the landing timestamp does not tell the driver you are ready.
If a bag fails to arrive, follow the airline's reporting process while still in the appropriate baggage area. Send dispatch a short update that you remain inside. A flight-tracking screen cannot distinguish a baggage claim from a passenger who has already left the terminal.
Match the vehicle to the final load

Tell dispatch if airport purchases add bulky bags. Keep documents and journey essentials in an accessible small bag, then verify all of your party's luggage is loaded before leaving. Customs approval and vehicle capacity remain separate checks throughout.
